Wedding Chuppah for Broken Families

Hi everyone, just wanted to know if anyone has had an orthodox wedding without their parents under the chuppah? For context my husband to be is estranged from both of his parents, recently reconciled with one and they likely won’t make it to the wedding. My father lives overseas and can’t fly, and my mother might be able to make it. I feel like if my mother comes I won’t have her under the chuppah because I don’t want him to feel left out. Has anyone only stood with their husband? If yes how was it? I’m really stressed out about this and I don’t know what’s the best way to do this. I know a lot of people do it with all parents but I always just pictured myself and my husband I would feel more comfortable since I’ve had a difficult family life as well.
