Does anyone know of good Shuls for 20 somethings in the Twin Cities? My husband and I are looking for a conservative Shul that is welcoming to young people WITHOUT kids! We would be open to a modern orthodox shul if they support LGBTQ plus folks.
We currently go to Beth Jacob. Most folks are a lot older, and everyone somwhat close to our age has young kids. Which is great, but they don’t really seem open to making friends with people without kids. Like the shul is very welcoming to folks with kids, but not so much to other young people in our experience.
We are about to join JFCS Next Gen, and have done some stuff with Chabad. Not to much luck. Most people we meet at Chabad are either much more Orthodox than us, or not really religious party people. Both great groups, we just don’t fit in them.
If anyone has any recommendations or tips we would love them!
