As an added note to the linked article above: Martin Greenfield became bar mitzvah at the age of 80 – at my Long Island synagogue! The documentary about him that’s premiering in NYC will also be screened at my synagogue tomorrow night (after Shabbos), and I’m looking forward to seeing it! I hope that the documentary can be found by any and all of you, as Martin Greenfield was a truly remarkable man. He sadly passed away earlier this year. May his memory be for a blessing.
