Tehilim for protection

Shalom!

So to make the story short because I know everyones busy with many important things.

So I’ve been studying about Judaism for the last four or six months. It’s been very nice.

Is it possible to use tehilim as protection outside, at work, in a trip? What I mean would you think I can wear maybe a bracelet with a particular tehilim or even more to writing down in papers (I’ve got my notebooks with me most of time going at work) and maybe I can just look at them while I take the bus, would it work ?

I read that every psalm and every word has its own energy, power. I was wondering maybe just by writing down them on my notebooks, to put even a paper in my wallet to have it at hand would it work to make small changes, protections of positive energy as a guidance through the day?
