Jewish values

I’m making a presentation on judaisim, with the focus on values. I’ve searched trough a lot of sources, and the things that are said about jewish values are either a few sentences long or incomprehensible.

That being said, I want to ask actual jewish people. What things do jewish people most commonly think are good ways to act? How dear do you hold tradition, family, acting politely, your religion etc.?

Also, how important are the ways of the Tanakh to you. The ten commandments for example

Thank you for any help!
