Hi, I’ve just started university and was so excited to join the badminton society, at my university our badminton games fall on a Friday evening I was wondering how this would work with Shabbat. I have my own badminton rackets that I was hoping to take with me but that constitutes as carrying objects in a public space to take them from my room to the sports hall, and since badminton tends to be a competitive sport I was wondering if it would class as work as I am competing.
