Purim should also be a day to encourage engagement with diaspora Persians

Politics are forbidden here for good reason.

Anyways I’ve been lucky to have known a few US Persians in my time. They are some of the loveliest people I have known, and we should all be so blessed.

Given that Persians play a central role in the Purim story, perhaps we should try in our communities to encourage engagement and support?

Thoughts?
