 | I’m so excited for this show!! Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Lisa Hanawalt are both Jewish and wanted to make a Jewish show with a Jewish audience in mind, so they didnt downplay the Jewishness. I also love the art-I love that they included Jewish features, and I love the unconventional art style. So much animation today is so clean, sharp, pretty so its really fun to see art thats more unique and character focused rather than instagram filter perfection. I could honestly go on and on-Im excited that theres Jews from different backgrounds, and that at least one of the main characters is queer! It comes out August 22, I dont have netflix so Ill be waiting longer than that, but I thought this sub might appreciate the show too! submitted by /u/cannotbereached |
