Hi everyone,
In dark times like these, I think of Zachary—our local butcher and kind neighbor after the Boston Marathon bombing. While many turned inward, he reached out, inviting my family to dinner and offering comfort when we needed it most. We moved away, and last year, he passed. But when the world feels cruel, I remember him. There will always be madness—but also people like Zachary, who meet it with quiet kindness.
