Ok so last night was the 7th night of Hanukkah, every thing was going normally and then some random guy came up and knocked on our door. First of all me and my family didn’t want to talk to him because of COVID and second of all we where in the middle of lighting our menorah. However this man kept knocking and knocking so eventually we opened the door to see what was going on. We open the door and he says, “I could see you have a menorah through your window, and I just wanted to let you know it’s not too late to convert to Christianity.” We just want to get back to dinner so my mom just says, “thank you but we are happy as we are.” We shut the door and get back to eating. About five minutes later we hear knocking again. It’s the same guy. This time he says, “you do know that Jews burn in hell?” At this point I’m pretty pissed off so I just shut the door in his face. In the morning there is a cross and a swastika spray painted on a tree in our backyard. We just took off the bark on the tree so nothing is there anymore. I don’t know why I am putting this on Reddit I just kinda wanted to talk about it.
