- Islam shares many of the same prophets as Judaism. Is it not preferable to refer to Jewish prophets by their Arabic names. Like did Mizrahi Jews who spoke Judeo Arabic call Abraham Avraham or Ibrahim or Moses as Moshe or Musa?
