Shalom, friends!
I’ve recently been reading a lot about the Rambam and had a question that I was curious about:
To what extent do modern Judaism and contemporary Jewish communities recognize and appreciate the influence of Islamic philosophy and culture on Maimonides’ work? I’m genuinely curious about whether this aspect of his intellectual legacy is widely acknowledged and discussed within Jewish circles today.
Appreciate any responses. Thank you in advance!
