I’d like to get a shofar to blow for the mitzvah on Rosh Hashanah. Do you know any online vendors that can be trusted to sell kosher shofars?
I’ve heard that it’s possible to conceal holes during the manufacturing process (filling them with shofar dust and invisible glue). Are there external kashrus agencies to oversee this or do you just have to know the guy making them is trustworthy? If the latter, does anyone know a trustworthy guy?
