Jewish education

I grew up Jew-ish. Which is to say I grew up observing Shabbat, Yom Kippur, etc. but because of the dynamic of my family (abusive dad etc), I didn’t learn a lot of what I should have. I didn’t learn the prayers to anything (except the Shema) I didn’t learn the traditional (or really any observance practices) around Rosh Hashanah, my experience with Yon Kippur is basically just fasting. I don’t know a lot of terms for our practices and cultures beyond super popular ones like Tikkun Olam, and I do t read Hebrew at all, I don’t even know the aleph bet.

All of this makes me feel very insecure going I to Jewish spaces, especially when my identity already gets questioned a lot by virtue of being a poc.

I’m really hoping folks know free or very affordable resources around Jewish learning and learning Hebrew. Everything I seem to find is either very expensive, or it doesn’t go deep enough into practices to teach prayers etc. they just focus on what the Torah is etc. And yes, I have gone to Jewish education classes at shuls and found the problem to be the same. The education is either not focused on what I want or it’s very beginner level for folks who’ve had no previous interaction with Judaism.

I don’t feel comfortable right now for reasons o won’t go into asking my local rabbi for more curated content so I’m hoping someone here just knows of some zoom classes I could take (I struggle with just YouTube learning but I’m open to it if it’s a good resource ❤️).
