Isalm

I was raised in a Christian home, but I’ve been agnostic most of my life. The last 5 years I’ve been a lot more desperate to make up my mind when it comes to religion. I’ve thoroughly researched the 3 main Abrahamic faiths and I think im coming to the conclusion that Judaism has had it right the whole time and billions of Muslims and Christians are wrong. I can understand why many people are leaving Christianity for Islam to feel more comfortable with a pure monotheism.

However the more I researched Islam the more I couldn’t accept it for many of the same reasons I couldn’t accept Christianity. The most glaring example of Islam repeating the mistakes of Christianity is the Virgin birth of Isa. I cannot fathom how people who become disillusioned from Christianity could accept that G-d would have his messiah born of a virgin. It’s very obvious that the gospel writers were trying to appeal to his divinity to Greek pagans through this belief. It certainly doesn’t come from the the Jewish scriptures and it really is just asking for people to fall into idolatry. Why G-d would allow one of his prophets to be a symbol for idolatry to the extent Isa has been is also unfathomable.

All this being said, I’ve found plenty of material from a Jewish perspective for why Christianity is false but I haven’t been able to find much of Judaism’s take against Islam. If anyone knows of any books or YouTube videos it would be much appreciated.
