| | Just got my first pair of tefillin. I wasn’t raised very religious but recently I’ve been trying to get in more of a routine of performing daily mitzvot. I’ve always enjoyed wrapping tefillin, and today I finally received my own. I found this thread sticking out of the Tefillin Shel Rosh. Is this normal?
