Is there some sort of belief or Midrash that aligns with the thought of “I’m not important enough for [an entity similar to Christianity’s Satan]’s effort”?

I grew up in a group within the Catholic Church who tries to take us back to the origins of Christianity, so to speak. That said, the group borrows/integrates some Jewish concepts. For example, we heavily focus on the books of Genesis and Exodus during our Easter/Passover celebrations to see how God can take us out of the dessert/into the promised land and we have a song called Shema Israel.

Sometimes when teachings are proclaimed, though, the catequists (teachers) can be very vague in their statements. Unlike Jews, we’re not encouraged to heavily study and read the original material, so many times we’re made to take their statements at face value. This is something that pulls me away from said group.

During one catequesis many years ago, I remember the person saying something like “there’s a Midrash where someone (perhaps a prophet?) was praying, saying ‘God, please don’t let the devil tempt me’, to which an angel replied to him ‘you think the devil wants to tempt you? I assure you that the devil doesn’t even know who you are! Doesn’t even care to know your name! He’s too busy tempting strong faithful individuals while you’ve corrupted yourself with worldly pleasures!’”

From my understanding, Satan isn’t a concept in Judaism; I may be butchering the entire post and what the person said, but does this ring a bell to anyone? Can someone point me in the direction of reading more about such a concept?
