In what ways does our view of G-d differ from the Christian understanding of the Father?

I understand that the Christian Father is approximately equivalent to our monotheistic G-d. But I am sure that our understanding of Him differs dramatically. So excluding the other two parts of the Christian trinity, how does our understanding/characterization of G-d differ?

I understand that I am asking an extremely complex question.
