In the UK after the Manchester Attack

This is my first post here. I’ve been openly Jewish and have attended Shul on and off, but I recently moved to the north of the UK (Yorkshire). I was planning to go to my local Shul this weekend after attending Yom Kippur with my family, but after the terrible attack in Manchester during Yom Kippur this week, I’m feeling worried and anxious- not just for myself, but for our community as a whole.

I want to continue participating in Jewish life and supporting the community, but I’m unsure whether it’s wise to attend in person right now or to stay home.

I’d really appreciate any advice or perspectives from others who have faced similar concerns about safety while still wanting to be part of the Jewish community

Thank you in advance.
