I arrived at the shooting moments after it happened

Hello everyone here. I’m not an adherent to Judaism. I’m a Catholic. I don’t really want to talk about what I saw at the scene. What I want to do is to ask a question. Would it be inappropriate for me to go to the synagogue near my house, and coincidentally my church, to bring some kind of food or gift or card or flowers? I just want to express my condolences and just let them know I’m their neighbor and I’m here for them and that I condemn this brutal act. If so, what should I bring? What should I say? I’m so sorry everyone. Sarah and Yaron deserved so much better. They deserve to be alive. They deserve to get engaged, to get married, to have children and start a family. I’ve been praying for them ever since the moments it happened. I’ll never stop praying for them.
