Hi, I’m a gentile who fascinated with Jewish culture and history. I know this is such a broad question but how different is the modern Jewish religion from ancient Jewish faith? I know the destruction of the temple was a huge event in the history of the religion. I also know some books(I think they are books?) like the Talmud came after that. What additions did the religion have, what practices changed etc?
