Help with translation 😊

I’m trying to read the commentary of the Malbim to the book of Job. He interprets chapter 28:1-11 as a description of five different ways by which precious metals and stones hidden in the depths of earth are revealed. This passage, which comments verses 7-10, describe the fourth of these five ways. It has something to do with water channels that fill caves inside mountains and somehow make them collapse, but I cannot understand exactly what he is saying, particularly the 28:10 part.
