For those allergic to water, how do they purify?

In the unlikely event that a Jew is allergic to water known as aquagenic urticaria, how do they purify themselves if they can’t safely use a mikveh? This question is directed at Hasidic Jews or other strict Orthodox sects. Have Rabbis arrived at a general consensus about an alternative purification ritual that is just as sanctifying?
