First time since my BM doing Yom Kippur. What candles do I light and when does my fast start or end?

Both parents are alive so no memorial candle but it seems there are other candles a that should burn the entire time. Where do I get these? Also when do I light them? When does my fast start and end ? I will be going to temple and not using any electronics. Anything else I should know? Trying to be a good Jew. I will be brushing my teeth because that’s just gross but I can go a day without a shower.
