Eid al Adha and Pesach.

Well I’m a muslim and I deeply study biblical hermeneutics and jewish history. I wanna know if Pesach is a remembrance sacrifice which, so far as my study, it seems like. Because we muslims also do a remembrance sacrifice in Eid Al Adha.

I loved the parallels I found in Pesach and Eid al adha…

You know in Surah Baqarah the story of Israel and exodus is in parallel with story of Abraham.

The parallel I found astonishing were: Pesach is celebrated because God saved the “Firstborns” of all Israel and tell them to continue this sacrifice in remembrance of it.

Abraham (acc to muslim tradition) was about to sacrifice his “Firstborn” and God redeemed/saved him with a lamb and we muslim in remembrance of how God saved the Firstborn of Abraham celebrate Eid al Adha.

Thoughts on it?
