So it’s my understanding that according the the Jewish religious worldview, this era we’re living in is the Fourth Exile.
I find it interesting that around the point where it came time for the Jews to go forth and live among the Gentiles, the surrounding Gentile nations all decided to put down their idols and start trying to read stories from the Torah.
If I was a Jew, I feel I might conclude that Hashem was trying to make those nations safer for Jews by making the people more like Jews.
But that’s belied by the fact that there have been many serious issues between Jews and Christians/Muslims, and relatively few between Jews and modern-day idolators (such as Buddhists like myself.)
So what, if anything, does the rise of these religions mean for Jews?
EDIT: I’ve gotten many friendly and helpful answers, thanks! But please let me know if there’s anything I can do differently to make my questions more respectful in the future. Thank you!
