Did Hashem “save” me?

I used to be very attractive. I worked out constantly, but I was a bad person. I struggled with schizophrenia. I had casual sex and got into fistfights.

In 2022 while working as an over the road truck driver, I developed a nerve issue where I have trouble sitting down and walking. It affects my private parts and affects my “ability” in that way.

I also developed a rare tumor that 1 in 2 million people get behind my knee that makes it so I can’t bend my knee past 90 degrees.

These things made it so I can’t work out , and I’m stuck being a cashier when I want to do other jobs that require walking, bending and lifting.

I’m however a much better person now, and arguably a better Jew because I’m not getting into fistfights and shtupping every thing that moves.

Did Hashem give me all these illnesses so I would stop making secular Jews look bad? Do you think God works that way?
