Crochet housewarming gift for friends

Shavua tov! Some friends of mine recently moved into an apartment together and they have a kosher kitchen; I want to crochet them some kind of a small housewarming gift and I was wondering if this sub had any ideas. I was thinking about crocheting a few pieces in blue and red to denote milchig/fleishig items, but I’m not exactly sure what; maybe potholders, but I don’t know if potholders have to be separated by meat and dairy. Let me know if you have ideas.
