So, long story short — I grew up Jewish (conservative). My mother converted before I was born and I always thought I would be accept by all Jews as a Jew. I learned (the hard way) that this isn’t accurate when I started to become more observant and attend a local Chabad.
I am in the process of filling out my conversion application with the Beis Din (RCC in LA).
Just looking to meet others who have gone through or are going through what I am.
