A milestone moment: writing about Jewish ideals for The Forward

I currently have a book review being published in The Forward, a Yiddish novel that wrestles with labor, faith, and disillusionment in a bygone era.

What made this experience special is that it was edited collaboratively by two senior editors at the paper — a process that pushed me to think more deeply about how Jewish history and moral struggle are portrayed in literature.

It reminded me how alive Jewish ideas remain when they’re tested through art and argument. I’m grateful for the experience and for the chance to share a small piece of that ongoing conversation.
