Zoom study groups at LAASOK

Hi friends. I’m a Reform rabbi, and Director of LAASOK, the liberal Beit Midrash (“House of Study”).

If you’ve been thinking about deepening your Jewish study, now is the perfect time of year to start. In 3 weeks we are launching some new zoom study groups!

There are several options: a Torah study group for beginning learners, and one for more “advanced” Torah learners, as well as study groups focusing on Midrash, Talmud (tractate Berachot – blessings), or the book of Genesis.

Each group meets on zoom once a week for an hour. In all of our study groups, we work to create a learning environment that is interactive, inclusive, and approaches Judaism from a progressive perspective.
