Zohar interpretation

In the Zohar, there’s a concept that each soul originates as a unified entity, comprising of two parts. Before descending into the physical realm it divides into two.These souls seek their other half to achieve wholeness and to restore the original unity of the soul.

Would love to hear thoughts on this. Anyone have any good sources of interpretation? What about marrying more than once. Or those that never marry.
