Hello everyone, i’m pursuing an orthodox converson and something has been on my mind lately regarding marriage.
I’m female and i don’t think i’ll ever have children in this lifetime, due to my family history of diseases and my own disability that i dont want to pass on. I also have premenstrual dysphoric disorder so i might have my uterus/ovaries removed if other treatments I’m currently trying don’t work.
I know having/raising children is a mitzvah, but I don’t think i could ever fullfil it. Physically as well as mentally.
I am just worried that i’m not going to find a husband because of this, i’ve already experienced how important having kids is within orthodox communities…
Please no “talk to your rabbi responses”. I did mention it one time, but he said it’s too soon for me to worry about that. He’s right of course, but I’d like to know if someone is in a similar situation because lately it’s all i can think about
