White Hispanic gentile here. Does it annoy you when people use the whiteness of some Jews as a weapon to create friction between Jews, or to erase experiences of anti-semitism? I’ve seen people from both the left and right do this.

I’m a white Hispanic (who looks pretty darn white) and this is often done to white Hispanics as well. Isn’t it possible to be both white and a member of another discriminated group at the same time? It seems like some people think being white shields you from any other kind of discrimination. Also, are these people not aware that Jews come in many different skin colors? Have they never seen an Ethiopian Jew?
