Chabad seems to be the largest & most influential Hasidic dynasty, but also takes a vastly different approach when compared with Satmar or other more insular Hasidic communities. Breslov is also pretty approachable, but from my understanding they’re primarily based in Israel & don’t really ah e a presence in the US (correct me if that last part is wrong). So what do other veins of Hasidism think of the Chabad movement?
Edit: full disclosure that my background is raised Reform, but trying to become more observant over the last year-ish which has included some experience with Chabad folks which I’m very grateful for (although I don’t see myself becoming Orthodox).
