I’m about to move to an apartment building where I believe the super is orthodox. I move in on Sunday but today is Friday and I have some questions to ask before my move that I’d like to get settled ASAP. From my understanding Shabbat begins at sunset on Fridays & there are several rules regarding use of technology, etc. and I really want to do my best to respect my new super and not be a disturbance. Is it okay to send him a text or email before sunset? Or is texting at all on Fridays/Saturdays rude?
