Due to current events in Israel, I wanted to ask how important is the Captives Redemption Mitzvah.
This Mitzvah is not straight from the Tora as far as I know but added later during the 2nd Temple Exile
How important is it? Meaning do you have to do whatever it takes to fulfil this Mitzvah even if you have to release the enemy prisoners?
