My maternal grandmother was jewish, so I am a jew. But my family is Christian for 2 generations now. I disconnecred ftom Christianity and started practicing Judaism. Bought a Torah, Siddur, kippahs, tzitzit, I frequent an orthodox synagogue and have a good relationship with the community there. But my parents block me from my practicing and discourage me from anything jewish and argue with me a lot and they say G-d will punish me from not believing in Christianity. How do I survive? I will move out in an year, but how about the mitzvah of respecting your parents? What can I do?
