This one is for Parshat Pinchas and focuses on the Daughters of Tzelofchad, who challenged Moshe and demanded the right to inherit land in their father’s name (spoiler alert: they got it). I depicted each sister based on the possible meaning of her name: Machla – maybe related to illness (machala), but I gave her a healing olive branch to represent strength and recovery Noa – from tnua (movement), shown billowing in the wind, always moving forward Chogla – her name is connected to the partridge, a desert bird known for awareness and protection (got that one from Jastrow) Milka – from the root melech (king), shown with scrolls, calm and composed Tirtza – the name of a walled city in Efraim (Yehoshua 12:24) Thanks!
