Mikveh erev yom kippur

I am male, dati leumi, living in Northern Israel. I’ve gone to the mikveh every year erev yom kippur. I just don’t want to this year. Obviously, there is no bracha or halachic requirement but its tradition. My wife thinks I should just do it because I always have. I need some chizuk.
