I made a nice, rich homemade chicken stock and turning it into matzo ball soup tonight. I started making my own stock earlier this year and it has transformed my cooking. Cleaned out the fridge: a large carrot, a sliced fennel bulb, fresh thyme, a bay leaf and a very large batch of matzo balls, because my family gobbles them up. And a good amount of egg noodles. And some leftover roast chicken. We like a busy soup. Dinner in 13 minutes. Anyone have recipes to share? submitted by /u/LordOfFudge |
