Can anyone give me an example of two minhagim that cannot both be held by a single person at the same time because they deny each other?
I was told that the tarti disatri, 2 conflicting practices would count, specifically, the understanding of the time after plag as both acceptable for mincha, but also for ma’ariv, but this seems less to me like a set of minhagim, and more like a choice of following a particular halachic understanding.
I am looking for pure minhagim, not interpretation of halacha.
Can anyone give me some examples?
