Is it me or the most distinctive comedy films and shows are Jewish? As in directed and written by Jewish people or just portraying Jewish characters. For example, I highly recommend films from the Argentinian director Martin Rejtman—I think he should get more recognition from the community, given that his works aren’t really popular as they’re in Spanish. I’d also like to mention Joanna Arnow’s film ‘The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed’, in which I see a lot of rejtmanian dynamics. And of course, Larry David is also legendary. Would anyone like to share their favourite Jewish films or shows?
