I’ve always considered myself a jew

So , my family background is really weird , all of my grand parents had a different religion , my granddad from my father side is jewish , but not officially because of ww2 and the jewish purge that happened in Eastern Europe due to communism . I ve been raised to believe that i m a jew (my family name is jewish too , Vesler if you are curios) , I’m not 18 yet , but when I turn 18 I wish to convert to judaism , can i make that happen ?
