Hello! I’ve always been told that you are not supposed to learn Kabbalah before you turn 40 (or somewhere around that age) and have finished all of Shas, however I’ve found myself really craving some of the more spiritual knowledge of Judaism.
I was looking on the Sefaria app and noticed they have a Kabbalah section, so I’m really tempted to start reading a bit of it. However I don’t want to do so before hearing if there are any specific books I should look into, seeing as I’m not 40 and have not read all of Shas.
Would really just appreciate help finding something that’ll scratch that spiritual itch. Whether it be about the power of names, letters, or really anything that’s spiritual. I was considering Sefer Yetzirah but don’t know if that counts under the requirements that I stated above.
Would appreciate any help you could give.
