Is it normal to leave Hanukkah decorations up year round?

Since I moved in my roommate has had a string of paper dreidel decorations hanging across the doorframe/entrance between the living and dining rooms (a very central and prominent location in the apartment). She’s messy and has a tendency to leave stuff around, so I figured they were just left over from Hanukkah and she hadn’t taken them down. But now that they’ve been up all year, I’m wondering what the deal is.

They kinda bother me from an OCD perspective because it seems like they shouldn’t be there as they’re out of season. I haven’t brought it up though because of the possibility that this is a totally normal thing and I will come off as anti-Semitic. As a goy I just thought dreidels were for Hanukkah, so it’s got kind of a Christmas-in-July feeling. Like I’m decorating for Halloween now and putting paper bats right next to them lol. So, is it normal to leave something like this up year round in a Jewish household? If so then that’s great, definitely want her to be comfortable expressing and affirming her Jewish identity at home. There’s also a menorah that sits out and it just looks good so I’m cool with that part either way. But the dreidels… don’t look good haha. If this is just laziness I’d rather we just break em out during the holiday.
