If A Hunter Catches A Pig, Can He Sacrifice It To GOD?

Hello r/Judaism, nice to meet y’all. I’m not a Jew, but I was advised to come here. I hope I’m not offending anyone. Thanks for your advice and help! ;]

So, I was reading 2 Chronicles 15:11 and it states that since King Asa recognized that his and Judas’s victory came from God, they gave to him the spoils of the war. As i was trying to figure it out (at the time), I imagined a situation.

Imagine this: What if a hunter (I wasn’t thinking of a modern one but that could work too), who has failed to catch anything in his life, turns to God and asks for His help? And in return for helping Him, the hunter says he will sacrifice/give back to Him the first of every game that he has caught. So the hunter goes out and finds and kills a massive boar…what does he do?

I understand that the bible says boars (pigs) are unclean and are not to be eaten and therefore you cant sacrifice, but I’m assuming that this is a hunter who doesn’t have access to the bible.

So the question now becomes, what does he do? Should he go back and try to offer God a more appropriate game (like something of equal size and mass) like a bull or ram? Or does he try to explain his situation to God and give Him the boar?
