Idk what to do with this information ?

So I, 18F, have grown up orthodox jewish, and live in a city with a large population of Jewish people. To preface, my family has never been super orthodox, we have an array of different people and different levels of practicing. I went to a regular orthodox elementary-middle school, then a bais yakov school for high-school, and was aware that some girls would do things with the boys (specifically in this case making out or s*x in general). Personally don’t care, however for the school we were in, doing those things can get tou kicked out.

I always knew the joke about how ‘anl sx doesn’t count towards your virginity’ and all that, and figured there were probably some people out there that honestly believed tbat and partook in it. However I recently found out that some of my own friends have been doing it and holding that mindset, specifically those who have consistently been in the bais yakov environment.

I just feel kinda taken aback, and can’t wrap my head around that some of my own peers who are full blown orthodox otherwise are doing this behind closed doors- and will likely never tell a soul about things they’ve done (possibly even partners)

I 1000% have no judgement- I just feel weird and don’t know what to do with this knowledge
