I wish the universities would stop this antisemitism nonsense and that antisemitism could just go away. I wish we didn’t have to wake up afraid or fear losing our jobs because of the fact that we aren’t allowed to express our cultural or religious identity, I wish that we could go into a YouTube comment section for one of our cultural songs and not see absolute antisemitic filth written there. I am not even fully Jewish, but this community (the Jewish community) means everything to me. I wish that the liberals and conservatives and the Christians and really everyone could just get along with us and each other and realize that we are all just human. That Israel would be acknowledged as a country that most certainly has the right to exist. That forgiveness and love will prevail one day.
I went into a YouTube comment section for multiple videos. One was for Hava Nagila and the amount of hate there was absolutely appalling. That is one of my favorite jams and I can’t even listen to it online without seeing antisemitism. There were videos listed under it that were saying “oy vey” and calling for Israel to be taken away. I was absolutely mortified. Other videos were offensive Christian videos that were antisemitic as well.
WHY CANT WE JUST BE INNOCENT AND HAVE PEACE AGAIN!
WHY CAN’T THE CHRISTIANS FORGIVE US AND US FORGIVE THEM AND THE MEDIA STOP MAKING US LOOK AWFUL! WHY CANT ANTISEMITISM JUST STOP!
