I know an embarrassingly little amount of information about Judaism. Could someone maybe take some time to answer a few questions I have?

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer these. Sorry if these are really repetitive questions that are asked here.

How does kosher law work (sorry if I didn’t word that properly)?

Are there any rules about how to store the Torah or other holy scriptures?

Is the Torah the central scripture, or is it co-equal or even “beneath” another in terms of importance (again, sorry if that is worded wrongly?

What goes on inside a Synagogue? I mean is there a structured prayer schedule, sermon, etc?

Does Judaism commonly use prayer objects? If yes, what are these items like?

How does the Christian OT differ to the Tanakh in terms of structure and such? Sorry if this is offensive, as I hear that OT is not viewed as a proper term in Judaism, however, I don’t know what else to call it aside from the Tanakh, which I am not sure is the same thing.

Thanks again!
